Some behind-the-scenes about me, in case you're interested: I was born and raised in Oregon, right where the pioneers landed at the end of the Oregon Trail. My husband has deep family roots in the south, mainly in Arkansas and Kentucky. We planned to move to Tennessee later in life, but things changed and we up-and-moved with a business, two teenage girls and a dog. Our older daughter goes to MTSU and our younger daughter attends Clarksville Christian School; our fluffy, spoiled dog has never attended school.

We absolutely love Tennessee and all it has to offer. A few of my favorite things about living here are: all the concerts and live music events around, the genuine friendliness of people, respect for our military, and the weather - all four distinct seasons we get.
