About Clint Van Gundy
Owner & Broker – EXIT Realty 3:16
Rooted in the heart of South Mississippi, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience, strong values, and an unwavering commitment to excellence into the world of real estate. Growing up in a small town, I was raised on old-fashioned principles—hard work, honesty, dependability, and the importance of a good name. My father, a skilled gunsmith and competitive shooter, instilled in me the value of reputation, famously saying: “You’re only born with one thing—and that’s your name. If you lose it, you may never get it back.”
From those early years working beside him in the shop, refinishing gunstocks and rebluing firearms, I learned the kind of attention to detail and work ethic that would define my entire career.
After earning an associate degree in accounting from Jones County Junior College, I went on to study Industrial Management at the University of Southern Mississippi. For more than four decades, I served in management and inspection roles within the wood products industry—most notably with the Southern Pine Inspection Bureau and Timber Products Inspection. Throughout that time, I developed a sharp eye for quality and a deep understanding of what it means to get things right the first time.
In 2022, I opened EXIT Realty 3:16, bringing those same principles into real estate. Having witnessed how easily the pursuit of profit can compromise ethics in this business, I committed myself to building an agency based on honesty, integrity, and putting clients first—even when doing so might mean losing a sale. That’s the kind of brokerage I run, and I insist that every agent at EXIT Realty 3:16 holds to those same standards. You can rest easy knowing that if you’re represented by us, you’ll be treated fairly, ethically, and with total transparency.
Outside the office, I’m an avid marksman and lifelong shooting sports enthusiast. While I’ve stepped away from pistol competition due to time constraints, I still enjoy precision rifle shooting and handloading ammunition—crafting sub-MOA accuracy loads, including one memorable 3-shot group at 100 yards measuring just .049 inches.
My wife Lesia and I also enjoy chasing monster catfish on the Tennessee River, practicing catch-and-release for the big ones while keeping a few smaller fish for dinner. One of our favorite memories was her battle with a 55-pound blue catfish that broke her rod in four pieces—yet she still landed it.
Whether in work or in life, I bring passion, diligence, and a commitment to doing the right thing. If you’re looking for a real estate partner who will treat you with honesty, respect, and professionalism, I’d be honored to help you reach your goals.
Let’s get started.
