The career switch to become a REALTOR® was not a far reach for me. I love helping people and want to use my life experiences as a teacher, homeowner, and investor to open many doors for others! As an agent, I don’t just help the folks who sign the paperwork. The help extends to the whole family and community at large. That’s another person or family who owns where they live.

Our family’s first home was purchased as a rent-to-own transaction. My sister-in-law Pat told us of a lady who needed to sell her property and then introduced us to Harry, a wonderful agent/mortgage broker, who helped us from beginning to end. That was over 20 years ago! He helped us realize what was possible when we couldn’t even imagine it.

Being a REALTOR® is exciting and rewarding because it allows me to continue helping and teaching people. Whether it’s preparing to purchase a home or helping the seasoned investor purchase the next property or transitioning a retired couple to a smaller home where the sun shines 237 days a year, clients can call on me to provide wise, thorough service.

Over the years my family and I have bought and sold personal and investment properties. Other than our first experience, I realized that we didn’t have a person who walked us through the process. They probably thought we knew it since we’d bought homes before, but each real estate transaction is different. There is a lot to know when you decide to purchase a home, and you may have questions that you don’t even think to ask: Do you just go through open houses to look for a home? How much money do you have to have saved, and for how long? How do I know how much I can afford? How does your credit score affect the interest rate you’re offered by a lender? We don’t know what we don’t know... My goal is to provide unforgettable service that helps my clients prepare, purchase, and prosper! 

My personal motivation to excel as a real estate entrepreneur is to be an example to my three children and two (soon to be three) grandchildren and create a legacy for them. Their dad and I have had the pleasure of watching them develop the dream of who they are and what their lives will be. They know that as long as they are doing what they love and making a positive contribution to society they can't go wrong! They are all creators who use their imagination to design wonder-full lives for themselves. In turn, they have helped me realize that our dreams can stretch as far and wide as we desire. I love them and am so very grateful for them!
