Greg Ruehlen

I am the Co-Owner and Designated Broker of EXIT Heart of Texas Realty. I have been living and working in Central Texas since my first active duty assignment to Fort Hood in 1996. I have enjoyed playing an active role in its ever-changing landscape since obtaining my real estate license in 2006. Over the years, I have specialized in representing custom home builders, investors, and first-time home buyers alike.

I hold a BS in Web Development and an AAS in Applied Technologies. Both degrees allow me to fully leverage todays technologies to the advantage of my clients. I hold multiple National Association of Realtors designations, including Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and ePro.

My wife, Cheryl, and I are originally from the Detroit metro area. We settled in the Fort Hood area in 1996 where I volunteered as a soccer coach for nearly 20 years and a board member for several non-profit organizations. I am a U.S. Army retired, combat veteran, with over 20 years of active service. In addition to owning EXIT Heart of Texas Realty, I also teach Law of Agency, and Real Estate Finance at Central Texas College. On my days off, you will probably find me in my boat on one of our local lakes, enjoying time with family and friends.
