John Smeltz

Hello, I am John Smeltz and I've lived in the Los Alamos/White Rock area since 2012, we moved to New Mexico in 2010. My wife and I raised all four of our kids here, we have seen the community grow into what it's become and have great hopes for its future.

I am proud to be able to assist buyers, sellers and investors with properties in Los Alamos/White Rock, Jemez mountain communities as well as the Espanola Valley, Santa Fe and Rio Rancho areas.

As a licensed REALTOR®, I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and I proudly strive to adhere to the strict Code of Ethics expected of all REALTORS®.

As a prior (new) home buyer, VA home buyer and home seller, I am excited to help all new home seekers as well as our country's veterans. I feel my real estate education along with my experience with the general home buying/selling process, uniquely positions me to be of service to my fellow veterans and new/seasoned home buyers alike.

I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Both degrees, along with years of management experience at Los Alamos National Lab and other companies, have helped me in my real estate career and will serve you as we search for a new property or plan the marketing strategy for your existing property. Marketing-wise, I currently work with a trained social media marketer, who happens to be my wife, we enjoy working together as a team to help our clients and customers.

They promote the values of family and community throughout our agent base and participate in many community events such as our annual toy drive. I grew up in north central Idaho, joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 to see the world, while serving in the U.S. Navy I met the love of my life, we were married in 1993. After the military we raised four beautiful children. We've enjoyed living in the White Rock/Los Alamos area and have found joy contributing to the community by serving others through our church and school affiliations.
