Joni Stevens

Joni Stevens has been in the Real Estate Industry for 4 years, with almost 2 years as a licensed Colorado Real Estate Agent.  Her beginning in real estate was as a transaction coordinator, creating operation tools, managing up to 100 contracts a year, and marketing.  She fell in love with the clients she served and the fact that she got to help other at different stages of their lives. Joni has built a solid foundation of clients in Fremont County and El Paso County through her professionalisms, attention to detail, and down to earth approach to real estate.

Joni has a bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology/Sociology, and a Master Degree in Non-Profit Management.  After 10 years of serving the public sector she decided that real estate was not far off from the not-for-profit sector; provide a needed service for a community in need, while improving your community.  Joni uses much of her past experiences and principals in teaching and educating others to provide a better experience for her clients.  

“I find that most clients, even if this is not their first real estate transaction, need education of the real estate process from the beginning to end. They need info on lenders, inspections, utilities, zoning codes and more.  I believe it is my job to over educate the client to assure they understand their entire transaction.” 
Joni is a small country girl born and raised in small town Chanute Kansas.  Growing up as a Ranch/farm daughter, she learned the value of hard work at an early age.  She also learned the value of family and friends, and treats her clients as such.  After college at Fort Hays State University, Joni found her way to Colorado, Denver metro area, where she met her now husband of 14 years.  In her life’s journey she and her husband Ryan have had two amazing children 3 and 12, a few German shepherds  and finally found their way to their dream home in Canon City Colorado.  

When Joni and her family are not busy working, they are busy tending to their hobby farm, crafting with her Cricut, wood working, or just finding new exciting adventures in Colorado.
