Lindsay Bown

Let me introduce myself, my name is Lindsay Irving of Exit Lifestyle Realty located here in the beautiful city of Barrie.

I was born in the rural farming community of Priceville Ontario, located in Grey County and grew up there with fond memories of our family hobby farm. It was also here where I began competitive figure skating at the age of five. Eventually my family moved to Barrie allowing me to train and compete at the renowned Mariposa School of Skating where I went on to be a senior level national competitor. Unfortunately, due to injuries my career was halted and so I turned my focus to a professional future in customer service and sales where I spent over ten years working with some amazing people and clientele. It was through this period that I further developed my strong communication skills, problem solving, time management and understanding of finances, full well knowing not one clients needs are the same as the next.

In seeking my next big step in life, I spent a lot of time thinking about all the things I love and am passionate about; interacting with and meeting new people, building lasting relationships, encouraging others to meet their goals, as well as renovating, interior design and investing, the list goes on!

In the end it felt like all arrows pointed me in one direction, and that is a successful and fulfilling career in Real Estate.  My goal is always to provide an exceptional experience through every step of the process, ensuring that my clients are well informed upon making the largest purchase of their lives. Whether it be their starter home, something larger for a growing family, that ultimate dream home, downsizing for empty nesters or a long-term investment opportunity, my ultimate goal is to create a genuine lasting relationship with my all my clients.

Simcoe County as a whole, and Barrie in particular, has seen substantial change and growth over the years, including the addition of a GO station, many new residential neighborhoods and Condo buildings, updated downtown boardwalk experience with restaurants and shopping, and a complete remodel of the waterfront and its facilities located on Lake Simcoe. I believe we really have it all here in Simcoe County and the future looks so bright as the area continues to grow.
