About Me

Welcome to Exit Realty Jackson! I am Mike Kafton, the Broker of Record and Owner of Exit Realty, formerly known as George Realty, where I have proudly served the Jackson Community as a Broker for over 25 years. As a lifelong resident of Jackson and a licensed real estate professional since 1988, I bring extensive local knowledge and experience to every client I work with.

My deep commitment to our community is reflected in my long-standing public service. I have had the honor of serving as a Committeeman, Council President, and Mayor of Jackson and am honored to have been recognized as Humanitarian of the Year as well as Citizen of the Year in 2003 by my peers.  My tenure also includes valuable experience as a member of the Jackson Zoning Board. Additionally, I am a proud founding member of several community initiatives, including the Jackson Jungle Playground, Jackson Skate Park, and the Hockey Rink.

My dedication to making Jackson a premier place to live, raise a family, and retire is evident through my involvement in creating and supporting numerous programs and initiatives. From the Open Space Land Preservation Program to Safe Trick or Treat and the Safe Roads Program, my goal has always been to enhance the quality of life for all residents. I have also contributed to the establishment of the Economic Development Council, aimed at fostering sustainable growth and prosperity in our town.

On a personal note, I am a proud father of three grown children, all of whom were raised right here in Jackson, and a loving grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren. My family roots and deep ties to this community drive my passion for real estate and community service.
