Robert Schindler

Robert J. Schindler Sr., REALTOR® with EXIT 1 Stop Realty in Jacksonville, Florida, has built a life and career defined by service, leadership, and dedication.

Robert graduated from Coral Springs High School in 1989 at just 17 years old, excelling in both basketball and football before proudly joining the United States Marine Corps. Remarkably, his introduction to his drill instructors at Parris Island took place on his 18th birthday, just five days into recruit training. During his four-plus years of service in North and South Carolina, Robert worked as a personal finance clerk while also pursuing evening college courses through Park College of Parkville, MO. He continued his education in business management until his honorable discharge in November 1993.

Following his military service, Robert worked as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier for six years before relocating to Palm Coast, Florida. There, he continued his studies in Business Management at Daytona State College under the Montgomery GI Bill.

In 2001, Robert discovered his true calling - real estate. After earning his Florida Real Estate Salesperson license, his passion for both sales and teaching others quickly emerged. Within just a few years, he was running his own brokerage, Flagler County Home Realty, managing a small but growing team. Though this chapter was shortened by the national housing market downturn, the experience deepened his expertise and resilience.

During that time, Robert transitioned into a role with AT&T Corporate in Jacksonville as a Premier Account Specialist, managing high-profile clients. What began as a short-term contract extended into six years, providing him with valuable skills in problem-solving, communication, and adaptability.

A natural leader, Robert has always led by example - whether guiding his son’s middle school basketball team to back-to-back championship games, running a real estate office, or serving as Chairman for the U.S. Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” program in Flagler County. Giving back to the community and mentoring youth remain close to his heart.

Today, with more than 24 years and counting of real estate experience and the honor of being both a U.S. Military Veteran and trusted REALTOR®, Robert has built a foundation of loyal customers and friends from Miami to Jacksonville and everywhere in between. Known for his honesty, loyalty, and heart, he is passionate about helping people achieve their real estate goals.
