Sallie Chester

With an emphasis on Lake Murray property sales, Sallie Chester specializes in residential real estate in Lexington, SC and the surrounding areas. Sallie has been a top producing agent since she joined EXIT Real Estate Consultants in 2009. Sallie Chester was named the Central Carolina REALTORS' Association 2021 REALTOR® of the Year.  She was selected by her peers among 3300 REALTORS® in the midlands of SC in recognition of her dedication, professionalism, and success, and as an exemplary REALTOR® Leader and a Voice for Real Estate.  Sallie is a Legacy Award recipient and life member of the Central Carolina REALTORS’® Association Circle of Excellence and formerly chaired that committee.  She has served the local association as a member and executive member of the CCRA Board of Directors.  She has served  on the South Carolina REALTORS'® Board of Directors.  Sallie is a member of the Grievance and Professional Standards Committee and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.  She spent seventeen years as an educator. She holds a BA in music from Columbia College and MEd from SC State University. She is a graduate of the SC School of Real Estate and holds the following National REALTOR® Association designations or certificates: Seniors Real Estate Specialist, At Home With Diversity, and Pricing Strategies Advisor.  Since 2004, Sallie has worked as a Relocation Manager, a global referral specialist and a real estate sales agent. She has successfully rehabilitated homes and has managed her own rental property.

Besides her real estate affiliations, Sallie is a substitute organist and pianist at area churches.  She is a member of the Lake Murray Association, Capital City Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism, Lexington County Choral Society, and Moultrie-Eutaw Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her volunteer work includes helping families build and improve places to call home through Habitat for Humanity.

John Covington, REALTOR®, is a resident of Lake Murray, SC.  His focus is residential properties and acreage on Lake Murray, as well as properties in Richland, Lexington, Newberry, and Orangeburg Counties. He also has experience with agricultural/timber land purchases and investment property. John is Sallie's nephew.  He grew up on a farm in the small town of Norway, SC where he learned the value of hard work and dedication. After receiving his degree in Finance from Francis Marion University, John moved to Columbia to begin a career with a national brand in construction equipment sales and rentals. John continued his training, receiving certification from Midlands Technical College in Residential Contractor Business, Residential Building Codes, Residential Building Framing & Finishing, Residential Building Site Prep, and General Construction Safety.  He advanced to Area Manager and was responsible for two dealerships which ranked number two in market share. During his career, John developed advanced skills in contract negotiation, teamwork, and time management. Dyan Joly,  REALTOR®, is a resident of Lexington who specializes in residential properties in Lexington, SC and the surrounding areas of Gilbert, Irmo, Chapin, Batesburg-Leesville, West Columbia and Columbia.
