Shannon Malcom

Hi my name is Shannon Malcom. My husband, Rob, and I have been turning properties into possibilities for several years in and around Birmingham, Alabama. We have flipped over 300 homes in and around Birmingham. We have a passion for historic homes and have restored over 40 homes in the Historic Norwood community which was the first planned neighborhood in Birmingham. We work with buyers, sellers, and investors buying and selling residential and multi-family properties.

A Little About Me
In 2017, I pursued the necessary education to obtain my Alabama Real Estate Salesperson license so that I could help our family and others obtain the goal of homeownership. In 2020, my husband and I bought our own EXIT Realty Franchise and are now both owners and real estate professionals. In 2022, I received my Broker?s license so that I could effectively help other agents succeed in their real estate careers. I believe in collaboration over competition and I believe that there is a solution to every problem. 

My Company
At EXIT Realty Birmingham, we make sure each agent is thoroughly oriented and trained in the basics of successful real estate sales. We show each agent how to properly brand themselves and take that brand into the marketplace to get more leads. We seek out the latest technology tools available in real estate then teach each how to use them. We have built a team culture that is supportive and fun. We enjoy, mentor, and encourage each other much like a family would do. We then expose our agents to a plan to make over 100% to build their own business with passive and residual income to create retirement security, which is unique in real estate today. My company exists to build strong real estate agents and offices, and to help make them successful.

Personal
My husband and I have quite the testimony of how God has restored our family and allowed us to move from homelessness to homeownership. The passion we have for helping others comes from a very personal place within our hearts. We are involved in several different ministries giving back so freely what was given to us as we overcame many obstacles and hardships. We are true believers in the Golden Rule, which states clearly: "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you." Matthew 7:12 NIV
