Sylvia Hernandez

Sylvia Hernandez was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. She has seen this community develop into the thriving city it has become. Currently a resident of Hudson County, she is proud to assist buyers, sellers and investors with properties throughout the area.

She enjoys helping first-time buyers realize their dreams of home ownership just as much as showing current homeowners, entering their golden years, how to prepare to invest in their retirement home.

Sylvia worked in the financial industry for over twenty five years, primarily specializing in Corporate Bond Investments. She'd been licensed in health and life insurance which enabled her to prepare financial needs analysis to determine the best coverage amount for her clients. Given the incredible growth of global marketing agents and her experience in finance, real estate was a natural fit.

Sylvia is eager, and enthusiastically continues to serve her community as a REALTOR alongside a group of professional sales agents at EXIT on the Hudson Realty.

EXIT on the Hudson Realty has been serving Hudson County and the surrounding areas for over fifteen years. They promote the values of family and community throughout their agent base and participate in many community events. This is why EXIT on the Hudson Realty was the obvious choice for Sylvia to become a part of and continue to serve her communities with joy.

On a personal note, Sylvia was born to Hispanic parents and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She created, organized and currently serves on the Beacon Christian Academy 40th Anniversary Committee based in Bayonne, NJ, helping this non-profit organization raise funds to assist less fortunate children get a Christian education. She enjoys long walks, cycling and participating in 5K's that are organized to bring awareness to a specific cause. In 2016 she ran her first Disney Marathon 26.2 miles and in 2019 she ran the Disney Goofy Race; a combination of four races commencing with a 5K, proceeded on consecutive days by a 10K, a Half Marathon 13.1 and culminating with a Full Marathon 26.2
