Matthew Hughes

Matt Hughes is an award winning, full time Realtor® who has been making his clients dreams a reality since 2013. He got his passion for real estate while building his own home in 2007. Matt's extensive knowledge and experience on the Jersey Shore provides him a unique view of real estate market trends that he shares with his clients to help them make the best decisions for their needs and desires.

Specializing in buying, selling and helping Seniors, his multi-faceted expertise is of great benefit to his clients. Matt understands that a home is often the largest purchase a person will make in their lifetime and believes Realtors® must be well educated to provide the level of service and protection clients deserve. Matt is constantly furthering his knowledge and has earned the designations of SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), SRS (Sellers Representative Specialist), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) & ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative). He has also trained under such industry luminaries as Johnny Loewy, Darryl Davis & Scott Einbinder.

A first class education paired with years of learning in the field has earned Matt many awards such as becoming a member of Exit Realty's Executive Club. His work ethic didn't start in the real estate industry, but followed him from his past career; he was awarded multiple Gavin/JazzWeek  Independent Promotion & Marketing awards during his time at New World 'n Jazz Promotion and Marketing.

Matt is a member in good standing of the Monmouth County Association of Realtors® (MCAR), New Jersey Association of Realtors® (NJAR) and the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) in addition to the Monmouth Ocean Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

In Matt's free time he enjoys photography (he was one of the Army Black Knight staff photographers at West Point), music, traveling/RVing & dinning out.
