Douglas Clark

I am a seasoned Broker Associate with Side-by-Side Realty Group of EXIT King Realty in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and I bring more than 18 years of real estate experience to my customers, colleagues, and community.

I began my real estate career over eighteen years ago and quickly established myself as a trusted leader in the industry. In 2013, I founded EXIT Sunset Realty, growing the brokerage from just six agents to more than 20 agents within its first year. After several successful years as a brokerage owner, I made the decision in 2018 to return to what I enjoy most—working directly with buyers and sellers. I sold the brokerage to new ownership so I could focus full-time on serving my clients and delivering exceptional results.

I take pride in “coaching” my clients through every stage of the buying and selling process. Drawing from my background in competitive sports coaching, I bring a winning mindset, strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and steady guidance to every transaction. My passion for mentoring has also allowed me to help newer agents build confidence and achieve success in their careers.

My professional credentials reflect my commitment to excellence and continued education. I hold the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, am certified in Short Sale Mastery, and am a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM). My team and I are proud members of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Florida REALTORS®, and the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM).

Before entering real estate, I spent more than 18 years as a successful small business owner in the automotive industry. That entrepreneurial background, combined with my dedication to leadership and service, has shaped the client-focused approach I bring to my business today. I am also the founder of the Braden River Soccer Club, which reflects my long-standing commitment to community involvement and youth development.

My wife and I have been happily married for more than 43 years, and we are proud parents of four grown sons. The values of integrity, hard work, and personal connection continue to guide both my business and my relationships with clients throughout the Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota-Manatee areas.
