Austin DeFord

Austin is a licensed Realtor with Exit Realty North Star, serving at their Norwalk location since 2019.

 

Austin is committed to his local community and focused on preserving the "Iowa Nice" while helping Norwalk and the surrounding area grow. He is an active member at Alathea Baptist Church where he has attended since 2004. He has served on many of his church's committees and is currently a deacon, while also serving as a member of the church's security team. Austin has also owned a window cleaning business since 2010.

 

Austin lives on a small acreage in Prole (south of Norwalk) with his wife, Karen, and their three children. Austin loves to share the fresh and oftentimes more carefree Iowa country life with his family. Austin enjoys outdoor activities, especially if it includes water and a canoe. He seeks to honor God by holding himself to high standards of honesty, integrity, and service while focusing on building long-term relationships. 

 

Austin strives to bring a professional but relational approach to real estate. He helps people feel that they are listened to, appreciated, and cared for in every interaction. His experience in starting and operating a successful business taught him attention to detail and built the work ethic necessary to fulfill his fiduciary responsibilities to his clients.
