Desi Brooks

After retiring from 22 years of public service, Desi relocated from Kentucky to Semmes, AL in 2024 after he and his wife visited multiple states to enjoy retirement. As he puts it, a big factor in choosing Semmes…”The Mobile and Semmes areas just felt familiar, welcoming and indeed warmer.”  Despite being new to the Exit Allstar Realty team, Desi obtained his real estate license in Kentucky in 2019 after his retirement.  Desi served in the United States Navy, volunteered as a mediator for State Government employees in Kentucky and also served as an appointed member of the Foster Care Review Board in Kentucky.  Desi graduated from Sullivan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Dispute Resolution. 

Desi’s compassion to serving the public in various roles was an easy transition to becoming a licensed Realtor where he has enjoyed working with both buyers and sellers.  Desi understands that navigating real estate transactions can be overwhelming for both buyers and sellers, and challenging for first-time home buyers.  Desi looks forward to utilizing his skills and experiences to make your real estate transactions seamless, enjoyable and educational.
