Eric Armstrong

Eric is a veteran of the United States Air Force with 23 years of honorable service at 11 bases of assignment around the globe. A retired Lieutenant Colonel, Eric's notable assignments include serving as Squadron Commander on two occasions and culminated his military service as a Joint Service Officer with the Defense Logistics Agency supporting the United States European and United States Africa Commands.

He and his wife Julie have been married since 1986 and have three sons. Julie is a second-generation educator in the Copperas Cove Independent School District. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Angelo State University and a master’s degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. He is also a graduate of Squadron Officer's School, Air Command & Staff College and Air War College. He holds a Texas Real Estate Broker's License and is an active member of the Fort Hood Area Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

In his spare time, Eric is quite active in his community. He has volunteered on various civic, educational, and non-profit boards over the years. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America at multiple levels and locations in Texas, North Dakota, New Mexico and Germany for 27 years. He joined Rotary International in 2013 and is currently the Assistant Governor for Rotary District 5870 and has served as President, Treasurer, and Membership Chair of the Rotary Club of Copperas Cove. He has also served as Chairman of the City of Copperas Cove's Hotel Occupancy Tax Committee as well as boards of Grace United Methodist Church, Boys & Girls Club of Copperas Cove, Copperas Cove Education Foundation, and the Central Texas College Foundation. Finally, he has membership in the Veterans of Foreign War, the American Legion and the Society of Logistics Engineers.
