“We may have very well presented Janet Antosh with THE most difficult sale she'll face in her career. An old family home in need of many repairs on forty-four acres of forested land looked like a golden opportunity for a developer and we had dollar signs in our eyes. However, through our very long process (over three years) we all learned a LOT and it was determined that the land, itself, really wasn't valuable without required frontage. Janet was diligent, patient and kind throughout the entire process. As the homeowners, we needed to make numerous adjustments along the way. Even when you WANT to sell, it isn't easy letting go of the family "homestead." Janet patiently served as Realtor, friend, and counselor - the last two roles not being in her contract - it's just who she is! I regret that the length of time for the sale of our home might mess up her "stats." It was not her fault! Janet did everything possible to get for us the highest price for our sale and to encourage us when adjustments needed to be made. But we did not make her job easy! Finally, in the spring of 2019, just the right person came along to enjoy the cottage and the forested setting and we were pleased with the final sale.
