Jon’s journey into real estate began behind the scenes, working as an assistant to a successful local team led by his brother Cameron Maxwell and his mother Judith Maxwell. Over the years, he developed a strong foundation in real estate operations, client service, and market knowledge before becoming a licensed REALTOR® in 2009.

He has partnered with Cameron Maxwell and longtime family friend and experienced REALTOR; Deanna Weaver, forming a collaborative team known for professionalism, integrity, and consistent results in the Peterborough real estate market.

Jon has a particular passion for new home construction and builder representation. He proudly represents Peterborough Homes, a respected tract builder with over 40 years of experience in the region, as well as Davenport Homes, an award-winning custom builder recognized as a Tarion Builder of the Year (Under 20 Homes, 2017). His expertise allows clients to confidently navigate new builds, pre-construction purchases, and custom home opportunities.

 

In addition to his real estate work, Jon is actively involved in the local community, volunteering with his church and is a past president of his local real estate board. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, hiking the beautiful trails around Peterborough, and exploring the Kawarthas on his paddle board
