About Julie
Julie Meggs is an Associate Broker and licensed real estate instructor for our office. Julie has been in the real estate industry for 20 years and has a true passion for helping her clients and mentoring agents at any stage of their real estate career in order to help them attain their goals and dreams.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Julie graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in secondary education. In 2016, having built her business and wanting to help other agents do the same, she started her own team, The Julie Meggs Team with the help of her husband, Alex, which quickly grew to new heights. By 2019, She and her team won a Best of Zillow award and many production awards placing them in the ranks amongst other larger and more established teams. In 2020, she felt she could make an even bigger difference as a qualifying broker for EXIT Capstone Realty, winning the many Regional Awards including The Intentional Growth Award in 2021 and the state of Alabama's 2023 Arthur B. Pope Award for excellence in real estate education.
Julie is a respected member of the real estate community and brings a wealth of experience to her position. Julie has a passion not only for improving the knowledge of her own agents but also the professionalism of agents across the state. Julie has earned many designations and certifications to aid in her quest to make the difference in the lives of others including ABR, SRS, RENE, PSA, C2EX, CRB, and more.
