KaLyn Dorton

KaLyn Dorton was born and raised in Sheffield, Alabama and has deep roots in the Shoals area with a genuine love for the community she proudly calls home. A graduate of Colbert Heights, she also earned her Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy from Northwest Shoals Community College — giving her a strong background in communication, organization, attention to detail, and caring for others, all qualities that serve clients well in real estate.

KaLyn currently works for the City of Sheffield as an Administrative Assistant, where she has developed exceptional skills in customer service, multitasking, and helping people navigate important processes with confidence and care.

When she’s not working, KaLyn enjoys giving back to the community through her involvement with the Shoals Theatre Gingerbread Board, where she helps with props, costumes, and volunteers during productions. Her creativity shines through in her love for sewing, painting, antiquing, and all things crafty — talents that translate beautifully into helping clients envision the possibilities in a home.

KaLyn is engaged to Michael Crandall and is the proud mother of three girls. She is a member at Faith Church and strives daily to be a Godly woman in word, action, and deed. Family, faith, and community are at the center of everything she does.

She also enjoys gardening, caring for her flock of chickens, spending time with her two St. Bernards and two cats, staying active with Hip Hop Cardio at the YMCA, and making magical memories at Disney World whenever she can.
