My name is Kathy Vetten, and I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina with EXIT Realty Mountain View Properties located Downtown On The Square in Murphy, NC. I have proudly called Murphy home since 1995, and since entering the real estate industry in 1999, I have developed a true passion for helping people buy, sell, and invest in real estate throughout the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and North Georgia.

Over the years, I have built my career around Listing and Selling Homes, Land, and New Construction. My goal has always been to provide my customers and clients with knowledgeable, honest, dedicated, and personal service from the beginning of a transaction through the closing and beyond.

I previously served as President of the Mountain Lakes Board of Realtors in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and served as a Board Director for five years.

I continue to take an active and progressive role in our community and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience by helping and mentoring fellow Realtors and colleagues in the real estate profession.

A Proud U.S. Army Veteran

My commitment to service began long before my real estate career. I am a United States Army Veteran, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1981.

During Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, I worked hard and was selected as Platoon Guide and received the distinction of Honor Graduate of Basic Training.

My final tour of duty took me to Neu-Ulm, Germany, a historic city known as the birthplace of Albert Einstein and home to the famous Ulmer Münster, whose church tower is the tallest in the world.

That experience taught me lessons in discipline, leadership, responsibility, perseverance, and dedication — values I continue to bring to my real estate career today.
