Markedra Mann

My name is Markedra Mann, and I’ve grown up calling many parts of Tennessee home. There is truly nothing like my love for this state and the communities that make it so special. Today, I’m proud to serve buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Weakley and Obion Counties, helping them navigate their real estate goals with confidence and care.

That commitment to people and place was strengthened during my time at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where I graduated with a degree in Business Administration. My experience at UTM reinforced the importance of understanding every corner of the market and using clear, thoughtful communication to help clients make informed decisions that align with both their lives and their long-term goals.

Outside of the classroom, my interests evolved in meaningful ways. What began as a strong love in the arts grew into a deep appreciation for coffee and the role it plays in bringing people together. For the past four years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in and learn from local coffee shops throughout the region, focusing on creating welcoming spaces and fostering genuine community. I’m always happy to talk coffee, connection, and the ways shared spaces shape the places we call home.

That sense of community is one of the reasons I’m proud to be part of EXIT Realty Blues City. The brokerage has served West Tennessee for many years with a mission centered on education, integrity, and service. EXIT is known for putting people first—empowering clients through knowledge, supporting agents through collaboration, and giving back through meaningful charitable and community initiatives. The culture reflects professionalism, inclusion, and care, ensuring both clients and agents feel supported at every step of the process.

My appreciation for community was shaped long before my career began. The first town I remember calling home was Bolivar, where my mother’s side of the family is rooted. We lived there until I was in first grade before moving to Brownsville and later settling in Stanton. One of my favorite memories from that time is the community duck pond nestled between the high school and elementary school—a place that reflected the close-knit spirit of the area. Toward the end of fourth grade, my grandmother became ill, and our family returned to Bolivar to be closer to her. 

We remained in Bolivar until the summer of my junior year of high school, when we moved to Lebanon. When it came time to choose a college, I was drawn to a place that felt familiar—welcoming, community-driven, and rooted in tradition. UTM felt like home from the start. 

Today, those experiences shape how I approach real estate: with a deep appreciation for community, a respect for life’s transitions, and a genuine commitment to helping people feel at home—wherever they are in their journey.
