Nathan DeVries

Hi, I’m Nathan DeVries, a real estate agent serving the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee.

I grew up around Dale Hollow Lake, where my family owned and operated East Port Marina for many years. A lot of my early experience came from being involved in the day to day side of things, meeting people from all over, and seeing firsthand what draws people to this area. That background gave me a strong connection to the lake, the community, and the types of properties that make sense here. It also led to long standing relationships with local contractors and service providers, so I can point clients in the right direction with people we’ve trusted and worked with over the years.

Today, my wife Lee and I own a few vacation rental cabins in the area. Being on the ownership side has given me a practical understanding of what it actually takes to run a property, from setup and upkeep to guest experience and long term value. I’m not coming at real estate from just a sales perspective. I’m actively involved in owning and improving properties myself, which helps me relate to buyers who are thinking about second homes or potential investments.

I work with clients looking for everything from primary homes to land to lake properties. Some people know exactly what they want, and others are just starting to explore their options. Either way, I try to keep things simple, communicate clearly, and help people make decisions they feel confident about.

Outside of work, my wife Lee and I spend a lot of time around the Upper Cumberland with our two dogs, Captain and Finn. We enjoy hiking, boating, and just about anything outdoors. They go just about everywhere with us and have played a role in shaping how we think about the kind of experience people are looking for when they come to this area.
