“Robert happened to knock on our door one day about a vacant lot we were coincidently (no coincidences in life amiright?!) thinking/wanting to sell! He is kind and trustworthy and patient and understanding, to say the least. My plans were all over the place-prolonged indecision and possible relocation/travelling - wanting to sell that lot -buy a new place in los angeles but not completely certain- so a lot of changing minds of what I was going to do. but anyways despite everything, (it was over like a 6 month period of time, maybe more), he would always be patient with me and check back every so often, and I really appreciated that- not pushypersistent or annoying but- just like a warm, nice email or card saying "hey, I haven't forgotten about you guys!" And it was also a good reminder to me, to get on it. We tried to sell it once before to a different local home builder (I won't mention names) but at the last minute and last day of the inspection period-they dropped the price they were willing to pay. After that experience, which I was warned by a friend in the business, they would do (and then they did), I felt trepidation with realtors and home builders, generally. But Robert, on the other hand, came thru on his word and we got a price we were extremely happy with and more than we anticipated --more than the original first deal that fell thru with those other builder/realtor--so completely VINDICATED my prior bad experience and restored a lot of FAITH. (Working with some realtors in my experience, can be really sketchy) but not with Robert, he just has your back, on your side, and is a good person and gets you the price you want.
