Shay Matkins

Shay has proudly called Rapid City home for over 40 years. As a military daughter who moved frequently across the country, she brings a deep personal understanding of the challenges and emotions involved in relocation.

With more than 16 years of experience in the real estate industry, Shay is the owner of Rushmore Property Management and is dedicated to guiding clients through every step of the buying and selling process. She is known for providing clients with confidence and peace of mind, recognizing that a home is where families build their roots and create lasting memories.

Beyond her professional work, Shay has been an active leader and volunteer in her community for over 35 years. She and her husband, Dan Matkins, have also opened their home as foster parents for the past decade, helping care for many children in need. Her passion for service reflects her belief in supporting others and inspiring people to live fulfilling lives.

Shay and Dan are proud parents to three children and three grandkids.
