Sue Lyon

A SECOND GENERATION REALTOR... Sue Lyon is no stranger to real estate. Her mother had a 48-year career in the real estate business and was the first female President of the Mobile Area Association of Realtors. In addition, she was instrumental in establishing the first chapter of Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) and served as the first President. Sue followed in her mother's footsteps and entered real estate as a sales agent in 1989. Sue was instrumental in forming her companys first Rental Division where she was Department Manager. Sue was WCR President in 2005, has served on various committees, been an active networker with BNI (Business Networking International), HBA (Home Builders Association), as well as the Mobile Chamber of Commerce.

Sue's partner, both in marriage and in business, is husband Jimmy - also a second generation Realtor. Jimmy graduated college with a degree in building science and built homes in Mobile and the surrounding area for many years before getting his real estate license. The couple's careers in real estate took place in Florida until 1992 when they relocated back to Mobile, Alabama. In 2002, Jim & Sue purchased the first Exit Realty franchise in the state of Alabama. Sue is the Sales & Office Manager and Jimmy is the Broker. In April 2016, Exit Realty Lyon opened its 2nd office in Fairhope, Alabama. Jimmy & Sue actively participate in the day to day functions of the real estate company and share their expertise and love for real estate with their agents and staff. They also work with sellers, buyers, & investors. Progressive, tech & social savvy, strong ethics, pro-active marketing, and thinking 'outside the box' are characteristics possessed by this fun-loving couple. Their goal is to develop successful Career-Agents whose purpose is to help clients in all aspects of real estate while making a good living for themselves & their families!
