Description

An entire historic town in San Diego County, offered as a single purchase. The Village of Campo includes residential and commercial buildings on about 15.75 acres across three parcels, one hour east of San Diego on Highway 94. The property has 28 residential units and a commercial core anchored by the U.S. Border Patrol station, the U.S. Post Office, and East County Lumber & Ranch Supply on a lease through 2033. It produces approximately $480,000 in annual scheduled rent, with lease-up and renovation upside. The village was built in 1941 as Camp Lockett, the last horse cavalry post built for the U.S. Army and wartime home of the Buffalo Soldiers. The Pacific Crest Trail passes the village a mile from its southern terminus. Buildings are original 1940s construction and will need a renovation program. Possible uses include heritage hospitality, trail town lodging, an event venue, film production, a maker village, or continued rental operations. Seller financing is available. https://owncampo.com/
